Press Release: MPWD Elects New Board President and Vice President

BELMONT, CA (March, 2017) – The MPWD has elected new leadership for its 2017 Board of Directors. Al Stuebing, an MPWD Board member since 2009, was elected president while Dave Warden, an MPWD Board member since 2013, will serve a second term as vice president. This is Stuebing’s second time serving as Board President. In response to the challenges that lie ahead in 2017, Stuebing responded, “The MPWD continues to focus on delivering cost-effective and efficient services to its customers, including much needed capital infrastructure replacement to ensure its operational commitment.”

Community engagement has been essential in meeting the MPWD goals and it will remain a priority in 2017.

MPWD will also continue its dedication to water conservation during the ongoing, statewide drought through public outreach, valuable rebate programs, hosted workshops, and offering free water conservation tools to customers. MPWD customers have been outstanding in their response to water conservation efforts! Thank you to each MPWD customer for doing their part in this important program.

The Mid-Peninsula Water District Board meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm at 3 Dairy Lane, Belmont, CA 94002.
